Disney On Ice presents Frozen - A Preview
This full length production of the number one animated film of all time, is sure to keep audiences entertained with astonishing skating, special effects, musical masterpieces and a whole host of different characters.
I have been fortunate enough to have attended a few Disney on Ice shows with my family over the years, and we have enjoyed every production that we have been to, but I have often wondered about the preparation involved and what goes on behind the scenes. I was therefore excited to find out some of these amazing facts:
Did you know????
- Elsa's Ice Queen Dress is all hand painted silk chiffon by Parson-Meares, a world class costume shop in New York City
- Elsa has her own unique snowflake pattern on her Ice Queen Dress
- There are 39 performers in the production, 108 costumes, and over 100 people helped to create the costumes.
- It takes about 20 hours to set up the production..........and 5-7 hours to take down.
- There are 20 crew members & staff that travel with the Disney On Ice presents Frozen production. They travel on 3 buses, whilst the huge production travels to each city in 16 trucks.
- There are over 200 props in the show and 20 snow machines.
